ANALYSIS OF THE STORY (PRINCE HATIM & THE ANGEL)

Miracles , Supernatural and Love story

Plot :

This is a story of the Hatim (the son of the magical King Melek) who is very valiant and skillful . One day he meets an angel and gets information about her death . He visits his past life through time machine and discovers that he himself had killed her back then . Later he apologizes the angel and with a magical syrup he gives back her life . She turns out to be a beautiful young girl and they both fell in love with each other and there's this happy ending.

Exposition :

Protagonist - Prince Hatim (Very brave , skillful and just prince )

Parisa ( An angel who is enjoying her life after death and had died due to starvation)

Antagonist - There is no antagonist in the story .

Side Characters - King Melek ( Father of Hatim who is known for lots of magical stuff in his palace)

King Cyrus ( The king who attacked the Rawadid dynasty in the past)

Conflict :

Hunger is the conflict here in two ways ( The Prince's hunger wakes him up and The angel's hunger kills her in her past life)

Rising action :

When Hatim travels to the angel's past life to find the culprit .

Climax :

Hatim realises that he was the real culprit who acted inhuman with Parisa in her past life .

Falling action :

Parisa forgives Hatim even though he killed her in her past life .

Resolution :

The declaration of the marriage of Hatim and Parisa by King Melek

Setting :

Mystical world of palaces and majestic scenes all over ( Just like the setting of Persian empire )

Point of View :

The point of view of the story is " THIRD PERSON" .

This story comes from the beginning years of the 20th century from a small town in the Great Britain . Mr .Duke Butterfly was a very lonely , unmarried man in his 40s .
